This is the original Australian leather hat created by Bill Conner in 1969. This hat revolutionized the Australian hat industry by offering a choice from the traditional fur felt hats on the market. Bill was awarded the prestigious Exporter of the year award back in 1988 in recognition for creating an original Australian product and successfully bringing it to the world market. The Stockman suede hat is made from steer hide and features a shapable brim with a soft suede leather inner sweat band. Handmade in at the BC Hat factory in Byron Bay. Brim size 3".
